There is no place that lets one see the magesty of God like the Smokey Mountains, especially in fall when the leaves are changing. There is no one who can deny the existance and omnipotence of God once they have seen the heights of those mountains and the wonder of the wildlife. I hope you all get to do some hiking through the mountains. It is truly God’s land. I will pray for you and I hope you and the family have as awesome a time as I do when I get to go.

I agree with you completely! The secular perspective that criticizes Kirk is not limited to non-Christians; it has most definitely found its way into a large population self-professing Christians.
There is Christian literature that supports the notion that men are just men and cannot help but look at beautiful women, (although they are married and have entered into a covenant not only with their wives but with the Lord), and I have read this in “Christian” self-help, literature. What a disgrace for that message, as well as similar beliefs to be perpetrated to the vulnerable men and women whom are fighting secular views while trying to find their way to discovering the truth, embracing it and living it.
I did not know how Kirk handled romantic scenes in the movie, and I am so impressed with what you shared about his choices. When I saw previews for the movie and saw that Chelsea Noble is not playing the role of his wife in the movie I wondered how that would be handled. Thank-you for sharing that information as well as standing up for someone who clearly is stepping up to being a man for God and an excellent example for husbands and fathers. For that reason alone, he is going to be persecuted. But, I believe Kirk knows who he is in Christ and that is what matters to him.
